This notice is given in terms of section 18 of the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA), whenever personal information is collected from you through this website. It should be read together with our full Privacy Policy.

The responsible party for personal information collected through this website is Jehiels Holdings, together with Govenders Finance and Investments in respect of information collected in connection with its financial products and services.

2. Purpose of Collection

Personal information submitted through this website's forms is collected to respond to your enquiry, consider a registration of interest for future career opportunities, or take steps you have requested before entering into an agreement — including, where applicable, assessing a request for finance.

3. Is Providing Your Information Voluntary?

Submitting information through this website is voluntary. However, fields marked as required on a given form are necessary for us to process that specific enquiry or application — without them, we may not be able to respond.

4. Further Recipients of the Information

Information may be shared internally between Jehiels Holdings and Govenders Finance and Investments, with regulators where legally required (including the National Credit Regulator and the Financial Intelligence Centre), and — only where you choose to use it — with the operator of Govenders' separate online loan application portal.

5. Statutory Basis for Collection

Certain information is collected to meet obligations under the National Credit Act 34 of 2005 and the Financial Intelligence Centre Act 38 of 2001, applicable to Govenders Finance and Investments as a registered credit provider and accountable institution.
